When I found out that my little daughter needed to wear glasses, I remember we walked around the stores, looking for a pair of glasses that would fit and flatter. I found that the experience of fitting the glasses frustrating. a very limited selection, and a feeling that I needed to find a frame while compromising on quality and / or appearance. 

The selection of glasses for children pales in comparison to the huge selection of glasses in a variety of designs, styles and qualities for adults. I felt that matching glasses to my daughter gave her a sense that the glasses were the solution or cure for the vision problem she had.
